Very good offline app,

I like the combo of articles and great maps

This app dinged me with review requests at several critical moments while I was trying to find my way around Tokyo. So I felt compelled to write a review about how underwhelming it was. I needed a good offline map with street names, but this is really only good when you know the places you want to go. The UI was a little clunky and I would have appreciated the ability to see all my pins on the map.

Ive never been to Tokyo before, and I found this quite useful. There is no navigation, but the maps are quite accurate, and its easy to plot out your course using the phones GPS. You can locate and save locations to an easily accessible list, and make multiple lists. Free wifi is VERY limited in Tokyo (Starbucks is your friend!) so this was essential. One caveat, using it to navigate for prolonged periods is obviously a rapid power drain. My strategy has been to use this app, google maps when I have wifi, and a good paper map to reduce power consumption. Add street names, and Ill add a star.

Ive used Ulmon maps many times for multiple cities in multiple countries, and I cant say just how much theyve helped me to get right to where I was going. You almost miss the adventure of getting lost!

Trip planning at the moment. But its loading well and fast with wifi turned off. Seems to work well and the pins, etc. allows me to go back to places I pinned quickly. Syncing with iPhone works perfectly at the moment. One thing to perhaps improve on is that some popular places are not on the map, eg. Oedo onsen monogatari, etc, it would be nice to add a search function for topics: like nearby sushi. Etc.. Thanks and great product!

Planning a trip to tokyo and pinning places that seem interesting. Like the fact that you can organize a trip according to your own pins.

Works better than it was designed for. Ill use it again on my next trip to tokyo.

A lot of sites have no information.

Used the map in different countries, helped me to get around with ease and find point of interest and places to eat .... :o)

I really love this app. navigate the crazy streets of tokyo without turning on data roaming. I travel to tokyo at least once. year and this last trip with this ulmon tokyo app made everything so much easier and better.

So far I am enjoying this app in preparation for my trip to Tokyo.

Great app! The gps works with out and cell phone service so that you can find what you need with out having to get an expensive overseas phone plan. Plus it has a list of all of the mister donuts.

Great app, I can sync the spots I want to visit in Tokyo to my iPad and back to my iPhone. This is the app to use in Tokyo I think.

Quite simply, this is an awesome app. It got me all around Tokyo with ease, unhooked from the Net yet always knowing my location and direction. Thank you!

This app is very unstable and keeps crashing on my iPhone 5 running iOS 7. Very frustrating. Unless fixed there is no reason to bother installing it.

Very useful

Saves me multiple times from getting lost. Itll be even better if you guys would create maps for more cities, because Im moving to only using Ulmon for navigation purposes but it doesnt have all the cities. Keep up the good work!
